"The Great Golf Ball Blizzard
- 2008" RULES
1. For an
entry fee of $20, each participant will be entered into The Fred and Judy
Alexander Foundation 'Great Golf Ball Blizzard' golf drop to take place
on May 18th, 2008. Participants may enter more than once. Participants
will be assigned a numbered golf ball(s).
2. On Sunday,
May 18th the day of The Fred Alexander Memorial Family Golf Clinic at
Empire Ranch Golf Course in Carson City, Nevada, the golf balls will be
placed randomly in a bucket and dropped from the El Aero helicopter. The
participant whose numbered ball goes in to the make shift golf hole will
be determined the winner. This person will be able to pick from the list
of major prizes for this event.
3. If multiple
balls go in the hole, the winners (we will make a determination as to
which golf ball went in the hole first, second, third)
4. If no
balls go in the hole, then a measurement will be held and the closest
balls to the hole, measured perpendicularly from the center of the hole,
will receive the prize list and pick his/her prize.
5. Winners
will be announced immediately following the ball drop and need not be
present to win. Winners will be posted on The Fred and Judy Alexander
Foundation web-site by 12:00noon -May 20th, 2008
6. If a Winner
is not present, the next highest value prize will be awarded to him/her
allowing those in attendance, who may have won one of the top five places
the opportunity to pick their prize.
7. To make
a donation and participate in: 'The
Great Golf Ball Blizzard' go online to; www.alexanderfoundation.com and
print out a donation form and fax it in with name, address, phone number,
and appropriate credit card information to: 800-335-7716. Incomplete forms
will not be accepted. You may also call 775-832-4456 for additional information.

Prizes/Rules---
- The Fred
and Judy Alexander Foundation is not responsible for winner's inability
to claim or use the prize in accordance with the rule guidelines.
- Prizes
are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- The Fred
and Judy Alexander Foundation is not responsible for the postponement
or cancellation of an event associated with the prize, and will try
to reschedule drop OR pick a golf ball winner by random selection. If
the event should be cancelled for any reason, all money collected will
be donated to the charity as outlined above.
- The Fred
and Judy Alexander Foundation will require verification of eligibility
and identity before releasing prizes.
- All entries
must include name, address, and phone number to be eligible. Entries
may be mailed to The Fred and Judy Alexander Foundation PO Box 3182

- The Fred
and Judy Alexander Foundation and other Sponsors are not responsible
for mail or faxes that are lost, stolen, late, illegible, incomplete,
damaged, mutilated, misdirected, altered, tampered with, or postage-due.
Sponsors are responsible for inability of faxer to complete call within
specified time, whether due to busy lines, disconnections, telephone/fax
machine malfunctions or other circumstances.
- Golf
Ball purchases are open to all legal residents, age eighteen years and
older as of entry date.
- Limit
one prize/winner per family/household per sweepstakes.
- Odds
of Winning are determined by how many golf balls are sponsored.
- All federal,
state and local laws and regulations apply.
- Decisions
by The Fred and Judy Alexander Foundation judges on all aspects of this
sweepstakes will be final and binding.
- Winners
will be notified by phone or mail. If a winner cannot be located or
fails to claim prize within thirty days after notification, prize will
be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
- The Fred
and Judy Alexander Foundation assumes no responsibility for late, lost,
stolen, damaged, misdirected, incomplete or illegible entries. If entering
by phone, sponsors assume no responsibility for busy, misdialed, disconnected,
inaudible calls or hang-ups.
- By entering
the sweepstakes, the winner consents, without limitation or additional
compensation, to the use of their names, voice, photograph, likeness
and /or entry for advertising and/or trade purposes, except where prohibited
by law.
- By participating,
each winner releases, discharges, indemnifies, and holds harmless The
Fred and Judy Alexander Foundation, Sponsors, Facility and affiliated
Companies and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents,
and representatives from any and all liability, loss, harm, injury,
damage, cost and expense whatsoever arising directly or indirectly from
the use of the prize or participation in the ball drop.
- All federal,
state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of individual winners.
- Unforeseen
events: The Fred and Judy Alexander Foundation reserves the right to
change this sweepstakes at their sole discretion at any time The Fred
and Judy Alexander Foundation becomes aware of any circumstances or
occurrences which would materially affect the fairness of the ball drop.
Such changes will be announced in a suitable way to reach the intended
audience.
- Winner
assumes the risk of safe arrival of prize.
